Clear architecture and materialization
The house is composed of a powerful interplay of three materials: dark plaster, natural stone, and wood. This combination gives the volume calm and contrast at the same time. The architecture is sleek and reduced to its essence. Large glazed surfaces on the garden side open the house fully to the outside, while more closed facades on the other sides provide privacy and shelter. The whole feels solid and open at the same time.
Light, space and indoor-outdoor connection
At the rear, a fully glazed façade forms the transition to the garden. Here, indoors and outdoors merge into one another. Overhangs and sliding panels regulate the light and ensure comfort in every season. Inside, an open and continuous living space is created in which sightlines and daylight define the experience. From every room, the connection with the outside remains present.

Sustainability as part of the design
Sustainability is an integral part of the home. The orientation, facade design, and layout are aligned with energy use and comfort. Closed facades limit heat loss, while rooflights bring in extra daylight. Systems such as solar panels and a ground-source heat pump support this system. The result is a home that is not only efficient, but also logical and future-oriented in use.
