Designed with and for the residents

The house was created in close collaboration with the residents. Their wishes formed the starting point, but were refined and enriched throughout the process. By continuously testing, adjusting, and deepening, a design emerged that goes beyond the original brief. Materials such as white plaster, wood, and natural stone are combined with large expanses of glass. This creates a clear and calm foundation in which the surroundings play an active role.

Cohesion in space and material

Inside, a coherent whole is created through the consistent use of materials and sightlines. Plaster, wood, natural stone and dark frames reinforce one another without dominating. On the garden side, the house opens up with large glass surfaces and a veranda. The corner windows provide extra natural light and draw the outdoor space deep into the interior. A central chimney cuts through the house and simultaneously connects the various living spaces as a spatial element.

Comfort and experience in everyday use

The home is designed with the private domain on the ground floor. This keeps the house usable in the long term. Light also plays an important role in the bathroom, with a skylight that brings daylight deep into the space. The design focuses not only on form, but on how the home is used on a daily basis. Space, materials, and light work together to create a place where you naturally feel at ease.
